PTI’s Return to National Assembly
Imran Khan has indicated PTI’s return in the National Assembly. He says that PTI won’t let PDM finalize the name for the caretaker setup themselves. He is seeing general elections in April. He also said that PTI lost the LG election in Sindh due to the weak campaign and massive rigging by PPP.
Rana Sanaullah
Interior Minister of Pakistan Rana Sanaullah has welcomed PTI’s thought of returning to the National Assembly. He says that taking U-turns is not new for Imran Khan.
Latif Afridi
Former President of Supreme Court Bar Council Latif Afridi has been shot dead in the Peshawar High Court bar room today. He was a senior lawyer and an activist as well.
LG Election Results
The complete results of the LG elections in Sindh haven’t been announced till now. More than 24 hours have passed since the end of the polling time. PPP is leading with the most number of wins at the moment.
PTI & JI’s Reaction
PTI’s senior member Ali Zaidi has rejected the LG election results. He says that massive rigging was done by PPP and ECP helped PPP in this rigging. He said that IG Sindh should resign from his post.
JI’s Hafiz Naeem has raised questions regarding the delay in the announcement of LG election results. He says that the results are being changed.
Punjab’s Caretaker CM
CM Punjab Parvez Elahi has sent the names for the slot of the Caretaker CM of Punjab to the Governor of Punjab. These names include
- Sardar Ahmad Nawaz Sukhera
- Nasir Mahmood Khosa
- Muhammad Naseer Khan
Parvez Elahi joins PTI
Parvez Elahi has decided to join PTI along with his colleagues from PMLQ. He will announce his decision soon.
Chaudhry Shujaat
Chaudhry Shujaat has issued a show-cause notice to Parvez Elahi. He has suspended the party membership of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi as well.
Arrest Warrants of Imran Khan & Fawad Chaudhry
Lahore High Court has suspended the arrest warrants of Chairman PTI Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry. The arrest warrants were issued by ECP.
Russian Delegation to reach Pakistan Tomorrow
The Russian delegation will reach Pakistan tomorrow. Both countries will discuss the power sector issues as well as the buying and selling of petroleum products and LNG.
