Power Breakdown

The electricity in Pakistan hasn’t been restored completely even after more than 36 hours of the power breakdown in the country. Pakistan is facing the worst power breakdown. People are still living in the dark after more than 36 hours of the power breakdown.

PTI’s Protest

PTI and its workers are protesting against the appointment of Mohsin Naqvi as the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab. PTI has blamed ECP for this appointment and they reject the appointment of Mohsin Naqvi as the Caretaker CM of Punjab.

Appointment to be Challenged

Parvez Elahi has said that they are going to challenge Mohsin Naqvi’s appointment as Caretaker CM of Punjab in the court. He also said that controversial officers are being appointed in Punjab by Mohsin Naqvi.

Resignations Accepted

Resignations of 43 more PTI MNAs have been accepted. PTI tried to take these resignations back but the resignations were accepted.

Election Commission Of Pakistan

ECP has decided to write letters to the Governors of Punjab and KP to give them dates for the general elections in Punjab and KP. ECP says that they are ready for the elections in both provinces.

Erdogan’s Warning to Sweden

“Sweden should not expect support from us for Nato,”

Erdogan said.

“It is clear that those who caused such a disgrace in front of our country’s embassy can no longer expect any benevolence from us regarding their application.”

Naqeebullah Murder Case

A special anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday acquitted 18 suspects, including former Malir SSP Rao Anwar and DSP Qamar Ahmed in the Naqeebullah murder case.

As per the court, the prosecution failed to prove the offense which led to the acquittal of 18 accused, including Rao Anwar and DSP Ahmed. While pronouncing the verdict, the court declared that the evidence against all the accused, including Anwar, was insufficient.

Economy

Finance Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar has failed to convince IMF to give Pakistan the bailout package. Dar has now requested Prime Minister to help him. PM will now join Dar in an online meeting with IMF officials.

ICC Women’s U19 T20I World Cup

South Africa has defeated Sri Lanka while New Zealand has defeated Pakistan in today’s matches of the ICC Women’s U19 T20I World Cup.

Australia (W) vs Pakistan (W)

Australia (W) defeated Pakistan (W) by 8 wickets in the 1st of the 3-match T20I series. Megan Schutt won the player of the match award because of her brilliant bowling. She took 5 wickets and gave away only 15 runs.

India vs New Zealand

India defeated New Zealand by 90 runs to win the 3rd match of the 3-match ODI series. India has whitewashed New Zealand in the ODI series. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill scored centuries in the third match.

ICC Awards

ICC has announced the Men’s Test, ODI, and T20I teams and the Women’s T20I and ODI teams of the year 2022.

Ben Stokes, Babar Azam, and Jos Buttler are the captains of the ICC Men’s Test, ODI, and T20I Teams of the Year 2022 respectively.

Sophie Devine and Harmanpreet Kaur are the captains of the ICC Women’s T20I and ODI Teams of the Year 2022 respectively.
